Home Sweet Home

It feels so nice to be at home. I have my own little cot and lots of (oversized) clothes, mittens & booties to wear. Mummy and Auntie Nelia take turns to feed me. But I like to move about like a crab (just like my horoscope Cancer).. and don't seem to keep still. But I only behaves like that when I am hungry or passing stools and urine. Other times, I am perfectly a well-behaved baby. (like real!)

I want to Break Free !

Hei Mern Biao Jie & Me

My biao jie Hei Mern loves to carry me! She keep asking to see me and I feel so warm in her arms.

Nurses @ NUH

During my stay in hospital, there are many nice and pretty nurses who took care of me. Here are two of them posing for a picture with me when I was discharged on 28 July 2007. (Maybe they are smiling happily because they can get rid of me finally... ha ha)

But all nurses told mummy and daddy that I have been a very good boy throughout my stay. Women don't lie, right?

Mummy's 37 week scan

I finally made it to the 37th week in mummy's tummy!

Prof PC Wong recommended that mummy go for elective delivery to bring me into this world tomorrow (20.07.2007) - auspicious day, easy to remember and I was told that it's the ROM dates for Uncle Why and Uncle Hong many years ago!

In preparation of my GRAND arrival, mummy had to fast for at least 6 hours before the operation. My dear Daddy woke up at 5am to prepare (ai-xin) breakfast (tea, instant noodles, bird nest and bread with jam) for mummy.

Mummy 'complained' to Daddy that she couldn't sleep in the nite b'cos I was exceptionally naughty and kicking away... maybe I am too excited and cannot wait to see Daddy and Mummy!

Mummy's 35 & 36 week scan

During mummy's visit on 6 July (35 wks) and 12 July (36 wks), Prof PC Wong said that I am doing fine and don't need to come out so early. If I can tahan until 37 wks (considered full-term), very good already.
