Army Style Push Up

This is how I push myself up. Although I still don't know how to crawl properly, when I see something I like, I will push myself up and forward to get it. This is my usual floor activity and it got Daddy and Mummy quite worried that I may fall or knock myself. Well, that's part of growing up....:>

I like to admire my fingers and toes and bring them together.

Tripod Position

This is what is known as 'tripod' position. Legs crossed, body forward, two arms supporting in front. I didn't know this term until Dr Lee mentioned it. I will need to 'sit' like this until my back muscles are strong enough for me to sit up straight. So far, I am still a bit shaky in this position. After a few minutes, I will topple over like a 'Humpty Dumpty'... Luckily never fall onto my dear friend the Red Puppy.

My doctor visit

I went for my 6-in-1 jab today. This will be the last of the package of 3 jabs. I remember I had fever after the 1st jab, but I didn't have any on my 2nd jab. For this 3rd one, well, so far so good... I was a brave boy, in fact, I was sleeping when I was brought into the clinic. Mummy woke me up and before I knew it, I felt a pain on my right thigh... I cried out loud for a few seconds, sob in mummy's chest for a few more seconds, and went back to sleep! At home, I was just as active and kicking away. Auntie Nelia is monitoring my temperature regularly to make sure I am ok.

Oh.. just to update on my statistics:- Weight: 7.78kg, Length: 65.5cm, Head circum: 43 cm. Dr Lee said I am developing fine except for a slight 'innocent murmur' tingy. At the NUH Kopitiam, I also met one of the nurses that took care of me during my first week. I bet she couldn't recognise me liao :>

I am SIX months old

Today is another special day for me. I celebrated my 6th month old today. I went for a swim in the pool along with my duckling friends. 1 mother duck and 3 ducklings. Daddy and Mummy kept saying ' Wee Kian, you are 6 mths old already, must learn to behave and do this do that...." Suddenly I find myself so stressed at their nagging! Daddy ordered KFC delivery and I had the 'privilege' to taste my first ever KFC whipped potato. Not bad! I liked it!
